Every drop of Señor Maguey agave nectar is made with 100% Organic Blue Agave from the Jalisco region of Mexico, the world's most fertile ground for the growth of agave. Before harvesting the core of the agave (called the 'piña'), we allow our agaves to undergo a 7-10 year maturation process to assure the optimal quality of our nectar.

At this point, the juice is extracted from the piña and subsequently filtered. It then undergoes a heating process to break down polysaccharides — specifically inulin-type fructans — into simple sugars, mainly fructose.

At last, the filtered juice is concentrated into a syrupy liquid moderately less viscous than honey. It is at this stage that Señor Maguey differentiates itself from the standard agave syrup, resulting in a less viscous product that flows and disperses seamlessly.

Our entire production and manufacturing process, from harvesting to labelling, is done in Jalisco until it is sent out to our trusted distributing partners around the world.

For the greatest convenience, Señor Maguey is specifically designed to flow straight out the bottle and mix seamlessly in any beverage, whether cold or hot. It is a light golden-amber color, highlighting its natural production process yet light enough to avoid tainting your drink.
